Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado told Inside Edition on Thursday that she felt "publicly shamed" by Donald Trump when she gained 40 pounds after winning the crown in 1996. Trump, who owned the pageant franchise until 2015, reportedly ordered her to lose weight. He called the then 19-year-old an "eating machine" on Howard Stern and even took her to a gym and invited press to watch her work out. Yes. That actually happened.

Machado said she felt bullied "all the time" by Trump, who called her "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping" (maybe a reference to her being from Venezuela), and described her to the press as "someone that likes to eat" (as opposed to…? Someone not human?) She revealed that she "was very depressed" and that she suffered from eating disorders for years.

Machado went on to become a star with parts on various telenovelas and was the first Miss Universe to pose for Playboy, according to Inside Edition. She's just about to become an American citizen, where she will definitely not be voting for Trump in November.
