White House releases a Lauren vs. Yanny video. The internet hears 'trainwreck.'

$

How do you do, fellow kids?

The cool, chill, super hip people of the Trump White House took a break from issuing a gag rule on mentioning Planned Parenthood to patients and pulling migrant children from their families and putting them in warehouses on military bases to respond to the latest meme lighting up the internet: the great Laurel vs. Yanny debate.

If you don't think it could get any cuter, people such as Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Huckabee Sanders riff on their reputations for lying to the American people.

Conway offers to "spin" her response, and Huckabee Sanders doesn't miss the oppotunity to call CNN "fake news"!

Oh, and remember the time that President Trump was kvetching about the Fourth Estate on Twitter but published a nonsensical typo that stayed up for hours?

Trump hears "covfefe" y'all! LOL!!!!!!

The reviews are mixed.

Here's a better version.

This girl's viral text convo perfectly sums up the nightmare of digital communication.

$

Texting is fast and convenient, but it can be hard to convey tone. That's something we never had to deal with when we just used phones (well that and the agony of watching the three dots meaning someone is responding to a text, only to have those three dots eventually disappear without any message). It's really difficult, sometimes, to get a handle on someone's mood from just a text message.

A tweet is going viral right now that perfectly sums up the limitations of using text to communicate. Twitter user @emgrebz (Emily) tweeted a screenshot of a conversation between her and someone that most of us can relate to.

In the conversation, someone asks Emily if she's up. She answers, simply, "Yes." The person's next question is "Are you mad?," to which Emily responds, "Of course not, why?" And the person's answer? "Idk, the "yes" sounded angry."

A quick "yes" or "no" can sound brusque coming from someone who usually texts more. And Twitter was quick to jump in and make the tweet go viral, just because it was so perfectly relatable.

Other people jumped in to include examples of their own text miscommunications.

Friends tagged each other in responses to the tweet.

Someone pointed out that the lack of emoji freaked her out. Hey, some people use emoji for everything. They may not even be able to communicate without the help of that little yellow head.

Other people joked about how easy it is to doubt yourself or question someone else when you're in a text conversation.

This reminds me of one of the greatest Key & Peele sketches, where they're texting each other and completely misreading each other's tones.

This Alaska Airlines in-flight announcement is going viral for the best reason.

$

In most cases, in-flight announcements are an experience travelers tune out. There's some loose instructions about oxygen masks and a thinly veiled reference to the chances of the plane combusting or falling out of the sky, followed by seatbelt instructions for people who have apparently never left their houses.

However, a recent Alaskan Airlines in-flight announcement not only broke the mold of boring flight proclamations, but it also marked a history-changing moment.

"Wait for it... Captain Tara Wright is about to announce to Alaska Airlines passengers that they’ll be "piloted by two African American female pilots for the first time in Alaska Airlines’ history," wrote twitter user @kimblackproud, who shared the viral clip.

As well they should, the entire plane and internet loved the announcement.

This is the kind of in-flight announcement we should all be tuning into, hopefully these women help usher in the way for many more black female pilots.

Pornhub releases a VERY detailed map of the world's favorite porn search terms.

Most of the population looks at porn regularly. While the frequency of the term "regularly" might vary wildly, there are a lot of common threads connecting all the people diddling themselves across the world.

Meaning, a lot of us are unknowingly searching for the same sexy visuals, which I guess could be sweet if it didn't feel deeply creepy and depressing?!

In order to further distill our most (seemingly) private predilections, Pornhub compiled a (disturbingly) detailed year in review report spanning 2017. There are graphs describing the hours of porn uploaded, detailed maps showing how geography affects people's taste in porn, and of course, the most sea

I can't tell if I'm more shocked or depressed.

Here are the porn search terms that truly summed up 2017:

1080p, really?!

We'd be remiss to skip over the most popular porn search terms of 2017:

Lesbians and female step relatives truly topped the charts.

The trending porn search terms had some overlap, but still look different than the most popular:

Porn for women is the jam.

Naturally, the most popular porn stars were included in the report:

But wait, we have the male porn stars as well:

Sorry, Lex.

The horniest countries were also ranked:

USA! USA!

Thirsty people from the Phillippines took the cake when it came to time spent ogling:

However, Mississippi beat the other states in the U.S. when it came to ogling:

Dang, Kansas is in and out real quick.

They even figured out the peak hours for porn viewing:

This feels like a lot of math to quantify people's cum.

Pornhub called out all the people perving during the solar eclipse:

This feels personal.

As well as the people porning out on New Years Eve:

There were a LOT of celebrity porn searches:

Here are the porn stars women loved the most:

Cuckolds have been gaining popularity:

Here's how the most popular categories break down globally:

DAMN.

Here are the popular porn preferences of people on Pornhub Gay:

In 2017, women were here for Lesbian porn and men were here for MILF porn:

The average age of Pornhub visitors lurks around 35:

This just means all the horny teens are pulling down the average.

Hopefully, all these porn-related stats make you feel a little less alone during your alone time. I mean, if that's what you want?!

It has finally happened, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have tied their love knot in front of the entire world, and everyone is freaking the hell out!

Since most of us weren't invited to the festivities (a true sign of injustice), much of the long distance celebrating has taken place over Twitter.

While I'm a sucker for a quality sappy tweet, the royal wedding Twitter jokes have been truly top quality. Since I don't want to hog or hoard potential laughter, I have decided to share a handful of funny top tier royal wedding tweets with the rest of you.

13 intense royal wedding outfits the internet is obsessed with.

The world watched with equal parts awe and obsession as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at Windsor Castle.

After all of these months of intense build-up, we all got to behold the pageantry of Meghan's endless fairytale dress and Prince Harry's pristinely cut military outfit.

Obviously, given their glow of love and royal resources, there's no actual competition for best dressed at the royal wedding.

However, the procession of royal family members and A-list celebrities brought out a LOT of intense wedding looks.

As with any parade of fashion, the internet quickly took note of who was serving up the most intensity.

I could not in good conscience attempt to "rank" royal wedding outfits (how do you even begin).

However, I have gathered some of the most intensely dressed guests based on how long their visage will be etched into my brain. Here they are, for your enjoyment.

1. Oprah's unbeatable hat game.

2. Amal Clooney absolutely stealing the show.

3. Kitty Spencer as a vision in green.

4. Idris Elba's suit (because obviously).

5. The Suits actress Sarah Grafferty with those sleeves.

6. Priyanka Chopra and THAT LAVENDER HAT.

7. Princess Charlotte bringing true child realness.

8. James Corden, accessorizing with emotion.

9. The Bishop Michael Curry serving preacher realness.

10. Prince George serving up a young goth vibe.

11. Doria Ragland looking gorgeous in white.

12. The Queen in all her yellow sass.

13. David Beckham and his damn sunglasses.

While the ceremony was at its core an outward expression of love, it was also a big day for wedding looks.

The internet can't stop meme-ing Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend at the royal wedding.

Regardless of how amicably you ended a relationship, showing up at any function for an ex can be a deeply awkward experience. This awkwardness is likely multiplied when your ex is a royal and his new wife is an American actress that everyone is obsessed with.

So, when Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend from 2004-2011 rolled into the wedding, it's hardly unsurprisingly that she didn't look brimming with enthusiasm.

For those unacquainted - aka those who don't pore over Prince Harry's love life, Davy is a millionaire from Zimbabwe who met Harry back when she was studying law. The two had an on-again off-again relationship for seven years, and eventually they called it quits amicably.

Prince Harry and Davy still consider each other friends, and one of his other notable exes Cressida Bonas was also present at the wedding.

Nonetheless, people on Twitter couldn't resist the opportunity to meme shots of Davy looking wistful at the ceremony.

She even looked like she was dressed for a funeral.

A lot of the internet had empathy for Davy's position.

But honestly, can any of us say we'd look any different at our first love's wedding? Even when you've moved on, that kind of attachment doesn't disappear into nothing, and being televised only magnifies it all.

If you're feeling a bit weird about the obsession surrounding the royal wedding, you're not alone. I feel deeply conflicted about the idea of celebrating the eroding symbol of a monarchy in 2018. There's a bit of cognitive dissonance involved in gasping at the beauty of the royal wedding's pageantry and then turning around to lament oligarchy in the U.S., and yet, the pictures are just SO cute.

Honestly, since the world is such a flaming trash fire at any given moment, I am firmly on team If It Makes You Happy Then Do It (with the caveat of it not hurting others). So, I have made the active decision to allow myself to enjoy wedding photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gazing at each other lovingly. Because outside of the creepy glorification of a legacy of professional mooching and inbreeding (I'm coming for the Queen), Meghan and Prince Harry really DO seem like they love each other.

Since a lot of people on Twitter seem to also be allowing themselves the temporary pleasure of rehashing the royal wedding, I've taken it upon myself to round up some of the most hilarious royal wedding tweets. So, before we return to our regular habits of steeping in daily tragedy, here is one last beautiful batch of royal wedding Twitter jokes.

The internet used the royal wedding to make fun of Trump, because of course.

$

Unless you've been hiding under an internet free rock (at which point I'd ask how you're reading this), then you've likely heard the news: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now officially married.

The two disgusting(ly cute) love birds tied the knot at Windsor Castle, where they were surrounded by a throng of well-dressed A-listers. Of course, the internet tuned in and wept for the whole elegant fairytale come to life.

While most of the buzz around the royal wedding has been of the positive or joking nature, it wouldn't be a truly festive event on the internet if it wasn't used to make fun of Donald Trump.

Whoever is running the Twitter at BBC was feeling sassy enough to post a side-by-side comparing the crowd at Trump's inauguration to the royal wedding crowd.

Needless to say, the joke makes itself.

People on Twitter were here for the petty jab.

Dare I say, this tweet is the PERFECT MARRIAGE (drum rolls, please) of teasing Trump and celebrating love?! I'll see myself out now.

If we're going to get technical about it, everybody knocked it out of the park at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. Everyone from family members to close friends and A-list celebrities arrived at Windsor Castle in top tier outfits ready to celebrate the royal wedding, and that they did.

However, I'd feel like a bold-faced liar if I overlooked the fact that four-year-old Prince George and three-year-old Princess Charlotte absolutely stole the show with their little outfits and overflowing kid sass

I wasn't the only one who felt this way, Twitter was full of people meme-ing and admiring the prince and princess throughout the wedding.

So, without further adieu, here are tk tweets proving that the kids stole the show.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman got photobombed, and the internet approves.

$

The friendship and mutual trolling between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is very pure. They frequently fight over the strengths of Wolverine and Deadpool (and which one is superior), and Reynolds trolls Jackman's anniversary posts with the teasing familiarity of a BFF. It's very clear they are chummy men.

So, when Reynolds posted a photo with Jackman at a coffeeshop it felt like business as usual.

"Coincidentally, I ran into @RealHughJackman at his coffee shop, @laughingmanco after I followed him there," Reynolds jokingly wrote.

They both look very happy to be with their buddy.

People on Twitter, however, were a bit distracted by the guy photobombing in the background.

This kid knows what he's doing, and clearly the internet has his back.

For those curious, the coffeeshop they're being photobombed at is Jackman's Laughing Man Coffee in NYC. So, if you're seeking out a chance to photobomb the two, this spot would provide a statistically higher chance than other spots.

Female pilot shares sexist comments made on a recent flight. The internet has her back.

$

Wherever there is a woman competently doing her job in a male dominated field, there are usually a few men ready with tired sexist jokes about why that woman "is surprising" or shouldn't be there.

This happens to women across the board. But when it comes to fields that are still extremely male dominated, such as flying planes, there is an extra heaping dose of casual sexism.

Given the frequency of casual sexism, when the pilot Charlotte received comments from men on a recent flight, it felt like business as usual.

However, later, when a colleague expressed frustration at the comments, Charlotte felt compelled to share her experience on Twitter.

"Had such a lovely day flying with an (okay symbol) crew. Baffled as to why 2 male pax felt that these comments were necessary. ‘I wont make any jokes about female drivers then’ ‘Are you the pilot? If I’d know that I wouldn't have got on.' Fact is, I can fly a jet, you can't," she wrote.

She then mused on how these forms of seemingly arbitrary sexism serve as yet another barrier to women interested in becoming pilots.

Her thread inspired other pilots, male and female to chime in with their two cents.

Other people on Twitter offered some solid advice and comebacks galore.

Charlotte's brother Jonny is a pilot too, and chimed in to root his sister on.

SNL trolled the royal wedding in a sketch of the reception.

$

The whole internet broke yesterday when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged vows.

The unsurprisingly ornate royal wedding opened up a floodgate of hilarious tweets, the guest list was a who's who of wedding outfits, and of course, Prince George and Princess Charlotte stole the show as children do.

While the public was able to watch televised coverage of the full emotional wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle, Meghan and Harry kept the reception more private and camera free. Naturally, this lapse in voyeurism drove people across the world into temporary madness. Did this mean we were supposed to tend to our OWN lives?! The concept is too painful to even comprehend.

Luckily for us, SNL saw a need and jumped in with their own interpretation of the royal reception in a sketch fittingly named "Royal Wedding."

In the sketch, Mikey Day plays Prince Harry leading viewers around the reception since Meghan is in the hall trying to stop "some of her white relatives from getting in because they’re mental."

The sketch essentially acts as a tour around the various tables at the royal wedding, we get the glorious Kate McKinnon as the Queen (god save her), Cecily Strong playing a drunk Kate Middleton, Kenan Thompson playing Meghan's drunken uncle and Alex Moffat as a very sober Prince William.

Due to the lack of Meghan Markle, people on Twitter had a lot of mixed feelings about the sketch.

One thing is for sure, everyone was impressed by how quickly SNL turned around those royal wedding costumes. That is SWIFT work from the costume department.

Men share the 15 creepiest things women have done. Buckle up for the ride.

Straight men have a pretty bad track record when it comes to being creepy (see: all of history). But it's a verifiable fact that women can also be creepy as hell.

In fact, Someecards recently launched a podcast interviewing guests about this very topic. You can listen to the first two episodes here.

Since the topic of creepy women doesn't come up nearly enough, the Reddit user IdealTruths decided to kick off a thread where men could share their creepy encounters.

As it turns out, there are PLENTY of examples of women being bonified romantic weirdos. I hope you have somewhere to sit, because you'll need to settle in for some of these stories.

1. Blind attachment is a red flag.

RUN.

2. Sometimes you get tracked via GPS.

YIKES.

3. There's instances of major gaslighting.

This counts as emotional abuse.

4. TFW a women brings a decoy.

At least they had each other.

5. When she loves your eyes a little too much.

6. When she photoshops your children on the third date.

Girl, slow down.

7. TFW she tracks your sleep cycle.

She needs to go back to bed.

8. When she's on Craigslist shopping for a husband.

This one is a true saga.
NOPE.
BYE.

9. Double standards and the silent treatment are never a good look.

Basic red flags.

10. TFW she brands herself with your name.

11. When she keeps dirty keepsakes.

I mean, it's HER room.

12. When she's mad about your passion.

13. When Rachel gives you herpes.

14. When she's too attached to her hair.

I have so many questions about this one.

Do you remember where YOU were when you found out Chrissy Teigen was pregnant with her second child?! The internet has been obsessing over Teigen's second pregnancy since first finding out, and now she has given birth to her baby boy!

Her and John Legend can now celebrate yet another offspring.

On Thursday, Teigen first announced the baby boy's arrival.

She was quick to let fans know that this birth was much physically easier on her than Luna.

He also apparently has the same nose as his older sister.

Finally, after a few long days of suspense, Teigen and Legend shared the first baby photo of their new boy, as well as his name.

"Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens - We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!" Teigen wrote.

Congratulations to Teigen, Legend and baby Luna on the new family addition!

20 senior pranks that will make you want to go back in time and step your game up.

$

As this school year comes to a close, seniors across America are participating one of the final high school rites of passage before graduating— the time honored senior prank.

Yes, there are the usual pranks— like forking the front lawn, or releasing chickens into the halls during class (what, was that only my school?), but students are definitely stepping up their game and pulling off legendary pranks that will be talked about for years to come.

Here are a few, but remember: it doesn't count if you get arrested!

1. Some were harmless and fun, like this balloon prank.

2. While others were more complicated.

3. Plastic wrap was a popular choice for the 2018 graduating class.

4. A lot of these pranks look like they took a lot of time and attention to detail.

5. And a very, very steady hand.

6. Let's hope these schools have a large recycling bin.

7. Or maybe the seniors can bring these red solo cups to college with them. They will get more use out of them there.

8. An alternative to the plastic wrap was aluminum.

9. And— oh look. More balloons.

10. Some students got really creative— like this class who put their school up for sale on Craigslist.

11. This class committed to an optical illusion so good, even the police were impressed.

12. Other's went a much simpler (and stinkier) route.

13. Someone definitely got expelled due to this prank:

14. Or at least got detention.

15. And even the smallest pranks could have a big impact.

16. But really, who is cleaning all this up?

17. These seniors wanted to make one last statement before scooting out of high school.

18. And these seniors got into one big, fluffy fight in their last days of school (although 35 students were suspended for this one).

19. Some pranks were so fun even the faculty got involved.

20. Were these pranks worth it? Hell yeah.

Congrats to the class of 2018!

Comedian says being called a "straight white male" is the new N-word. Twitter rips him a new one.

Comedian Josh Denny is in hot water after comparing the term 'straight white male' to the N-word.

And yes, Denny is indeed a straight white male.

On May 18th, the former Food Network host tweeted this stupid controversial statement that would eventually get Twitter up in arms:

After sending the initial tweet, Denny followed up with this thread:

Man, don't drag Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. into your b*llshit.

Anyway, Twitter set Denny straight (no pun intended) right away:

Seriously, nearly every reply was from someone who disagreed with Denny.

From fellow comedian Ian Karmel:

To screenwriter Mark Hughes:

To Dictionary.com!

You know you done f*cked up when you are getting dragged by Dictionary.com.

Denny never apologized for his offensive tweet, and decided to double-down on his argument when people challenged him. He later put the feuding to rest by saying:

Seeing that Denny is a 'SWM,' he will probably face no consequences whatsoever for his sh*tty tweet.

Chrissy Teigen shaded husband John Legend for being out so soon after having a baby.

$

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards were held Sunday night in Las Vegas, where stars came out in droves to strut their stuff on the red carpet. Musician and actor John Legend was there to perform, making his first red carpet appearance since the birth of his son Miles Theodore Stephens on May 17.

Legend's wife, model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen was not in attendance, however, and she joked around on Twitter about Legend being out and about so soon after the birth of his son. When the pair had baby Luna Simone Stephens, their first child, people tried to mom-shame Teigen for going out for a date night like 9 or 10 days after giving birth. So naturally, being the funny lady she is, Teigen mocked her husband.

She posted a tweet of herself and the baby (well, just a little glimpse) along with the words, "wow didn't u just have a baby John smh go take care of it !!!!!! disgusting."

Interesting that there's such a double standard for men and women — no one tried to shame Legend for being out after the birth of his son (except Teigen, and she was just kidding around), but they would have gone after Teigen like a pack of rabid hyenas had she dared to to do the same thing.

But while he was out, Legend also took the time to share the inspiration behind his son's name. Speaking to E!'s Jason Kennedy on the red carpet, the Grammy-and Oscar-winner explained, “We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens; every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. So Miles is, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis."

Teigen apparently chose the baby's middle name, Theodore. Legend continued, “Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together as Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while we were like, ‘Yeah, he looks like a Miles.'"

And just in case Legend was tempted to stay out too late, Teigen also tweeted a short video clip of herself cooking, writing, "hello it's shortrib night be home by 9."

Nobody wants to miss Teigen's shortribs.
